Dancing Stage

Come and see Entelechy’s new work for the Big Dance at the Royal Festival Hall.

Frolic and Caper is a cross – generational dance by children aged 6 -8, Entelechy’s company of elders, and two 95 year old women from a residental home.

It starts from 2.30 p.m. on Friday 9th July, in the Clore Ballroom on the Southbank.

It’s free: http://www.southbankcentre.co.uk/find/dance-performance/tickets/dancing-stage-54265

There will also be a roving small theatre box performances by Entelechy’s elders in collaboration with Brazil’s older theatre company Casa das Fases.

I am truly looking forward to this event as I have also helped assist through the process of this project, working with the directors and actors at Entelechy Arts. The childhood stories told through the small theatre boxes reflect a cross section of people from around the world who are now living in south east London.
The dance piece was a collaboration and was choreographed by Stella Howard from Laban Centre and Rebecca Swift at Entelechy.
